  Dear Manager, Just so you know... The room was great, once we finally got one. The first assigned room, the key would not open door. The battery was "dead on door lock," was the excuse. The second room assigned had not been cleaned, the beds had been used previously. The third room assigned was very nice. We could get in the door easily, the beds were made and all was in order. Not until we fell on the bed in exhaustion and tried to turn on the TV did we have a complaint. It would not come on. After calling the front desk, the person on duty came up prepared and provided the correct remote, which by the way worked perfectly. The very inept desk clerk apologised profusely and offered a reduction on our bill, which I thanked her for and said goodnight. The next morning, after a good nights sleep on very comfortable beds, we went down for breakfast, made a waffle only to find the syrup dispenser empty. After going to the front desk to ask for help and finding a sign that instructed to "dial 0" for assistance and waiting, our waffle was limp and cold. But the coffee was good and just what I needed to get me through the next phase. Remember I said the night clerk promised a reduction on the bill? When checking out I checked to make sure that happened, you guessed it! No one knew anything!!! I started to dial your number listed on your card, but I guess the girl at the desk didn't want you bothered by a phone call that early and said the day manager would be there any minute. Sure enough she showed up a short time later. She very efficiently gave us a nice discount on our room. I want to thank you for a good night's rest. Twelve hours later we got home with the help of your fine running establishment.
